DALLAS RAPPER SO SIQUE RELEASES NEW SINGLE "NAMASTE" FROM DEBUT ALBUM, WHENIWAKE

Hip hop recording artist So Sique has released "Namaste," the new single from his debut album wheniWake. "Namaste" is his third single since the album's debut late last year. wheniWake also features Dallas’ rising hip-hop talent ThatKidCam, Drama Tha King and Latina rapper Conchita Virus.
wheniWake is So Sique's seventh musical project and his first album. The Dallas rapper chose to center wheniWake around the perspective of the African American experience in society, which are key topics heard in his first two singles: "Wake Up" (feat. Stanley Francisko of Cure for Paranoia) and "Mad In The Streets" (feat. ThatKidCam and Drama Tha King)
"The things I wrote about on this album are what’s really going on in the world. Things that not everyone realizes is going on,” said So Sique. “I want to empower the people who hear it to wake up, and stand up for what’s right.”
wheniWake was mixed and mastered by JayAnalog of the Institute production team. The album was highly anticipated by fans, since the success of his H.I.M. EP in 2013. So Sique is also part of the rap duo V.H.s. with Conchita Virus.
So Sique is set to perform "Namaste" and more new music from the album at Too Fresh Productions’ regional hip hop showcase Fresh Rhymes on Thursday, March 10. The monthly showcase, hosted by MC Leo J, will be held at The Crown & Harp in Dallas. Cover is $7. Doors open at 9:30 PM. 21+
